Address Book Province of Alicante: The altea.me address directory was launched at the end of 2019. Since the quality of the publishers' addresses that can be financed is not sufficient for me, I manually record and verify all addresses. In addition I describe and comment many. Especially the website quality in terms of information content, accessibility, security and usability. In the following you will find information to the address book and the search possibilities.

What addresses already exist?
Many things have already come a long way. E.g. authorities, health and videos of the municipalities. However, it takes some time to enter high-quality addresses. So I ask for your patience, I work as a lone fighter.
Therefore there is top quality. E.g. already all approx. 800 pharmacies, all dates of emergency service pharmacies in the whole province are seized. And, all police stations (Guardia Civil, Policia Local, Policia National), all courts. Fire brigades etc.. Addresses of the Region of Alicante. So complete, categorized and partly reviewed I didn't find it with my own search inquiries in the net anywhere. Voilà.
Not everything exists yet. What already exists fits! A lot of feedback from the meanwhile quite many visitors of altea.me confirm this to me. So I am satisfied with it and thank you for the lovely resonance. That helps me to continue working on it. Entering addresses is not always fun. 😉

The finest address quality
One big word. But haven't you already been annoyed about wrong, incomplete, nonsensical or even fake addresses on the net? In the end, none of the addresses can prevent that. Because already a move of a location leads to the fact that an entry runs into the void. And no one, really no one can constantly monitor all addresses. If something changes and there is no feedback, you as a site operator have no chance to correct errors promptly.
Therefore, a high standard of registration and continuous monitoring are important. Some sites import simply uncontrolled super cheap ancient addresses of address publishers. Only in order to achieve income without real content with a lot of advertising. Then they let the oldy addies rot in the net for decades unkempt and irritate us searchers. With altea.me there is no such thing!
The address publishers
There are also high-quality stocks at address publishers. I don't want to wrong the publishers. There are very good addresses. But they are also very expensive. Unfortunately too expensive for altea.me. Because with it a free altea.me InfoPortal would be unfortunately no longer possible. Since I want to keep the site altea.me but free of charge and only with little and not disturbing advertising try to finance, this is currently out of the question.
So I collect and check the addresses myself at the moment. I get some support from the Family. And I check them again every year. Is that cool? If you still stumble across incorrect addresses, please be so kind and give me some information. Here is the link to the contact form, thank you very much.

Address Book Quality Standard
The addresses entered at altea.me therefore have a high standard. Because they are recorded, checked and partly commented and/or described by people. This is how it should and will remain. Added to this is the high-end quality of the GeoDirectories* used as address administration. This is scalable, fast and allows the search for categories, classic or intuitive with map (my favorite search).
At the moment I am searching the Suma offices of the whole Province of Alicante. Soon the doctors, opticians & acousticians, geriatric care & homes, wellness, veterinarians, private clinics, outpatient care etc. will follow to finally complete the area of health. Then it continues with craftsmen, holiday accommodations, hotels etc. Each week it becomes a few 100 addresses to the Costa Blanca and province more. There are no bought result positions with altea.me. Only the relevance to your search query counts.
The best address book and directory of the Costa Blanca
My medium-term goal is to make the altea.me GeoDirectory* the best directory for addresses on the Costa Blanca and the whole Province of Alicante. So altea.me has a very high claim as an InfoPortal. Because here the most extensive address directory, the coolest photo & video gallery and the most detailed link directory are created. In addition many informative blog articles. The firm size for information to the Valencian Community / Province of Alicante / Costa Blanca. Am I megalomaniac? Of course 😉
In addition I also include the inland of the entire Province of Alicante. Unfortunately such a project is never finished. But if it is still a little further developed you will find almost everything.

For example, the best plumber / fontanero who speaks German, English or Spanish and is close to you. Just as fast to find as the nearest hospital or pharmacy emergency service. The city hall, court or the next station of the Guardia Civil, Policia National or Policia Local or also the fire department.
No entry will be sponsored for a better position in the results. Additional information about the company or public service (texts, images, videos) can be added for a little fee. This brings added value to the user. More information to the authority, the hospital or the business. But it has no effect on the position in the results page. Here only the relevance of the results counts to your search query.

Search 2 – Address Book Costa Blanca classic
You know this method from the search engines. You know what you are looking for and enter it in the search field. But, you must know pretty much what you are looking for. The future is already being worked on. But the search by voice input will have a similar problem. Intuitive searching or subsequent filtering is difficult to realize. I recommend the intuitive search procedure after the classic search.

My personal search favorite
The altea.me address book offers so called cluster pins instead of many confusing maps. As you enlarge the map, the pins of the locations gradually appear. The best way to see the advantages is to click on a cluster pin. This enlarges the area around the pin. The mouse scroll wheel or the +/- buttons are no longer necessary to zoom in. Intuitive searching is fun and works fast 😉
Different map views: The road map, terrain map or satellite view are also available in full screen mode. Google Maps Streetview is also available. To do this, drag the Pegman with the mouse into the map as usual.
Tip: First select a main category at the bottom of the map. The available subcategories will then appear at the bottom right. You can then check or uncheck them. The category Health is preselected for this example.
Instructions & Info about GeoDirectory Address Book
There are 2 articles describing the Premium PlugIn GeoDirectory*. Since I am very convinced of this tool, I recommend it also gladly. And I have a partner / affiliate account with Ayden – the manufacturer of this class of software. With the download of the free version* you can try almost everything for a location. This is very suitable if you only want to be active in one place.
The little sister of the address book / the GeoDirectory* is the link collection / LinkLibrary. Here you can find links to important websites that don't have a physical address and don't need a map. Many links are set up for German-speaking visitors. But with the meanwhile high quality of the Google Translator they are still very usable.
